This is my entry for the Sketch Challange at Splitcoaststampers, I like to take it easy...."deadline" (we don't really have a deadline!) was Tuesday! LOL! This is the sketch we had to follow : SKETCH SC450

As my previous entry (you can check it out HERE ) I gave again my very own interpretation of the sketch.  

Panel 1 : Backgroud

Panel 2 : washi tape strips

Panel 3 : Pattern paper matted on heron

Panel 4 : 3 roses

I made the background by applying some mod podge over a white cardstock, then I put some piece of paper from an old book and I went over again with some more mod podge. I applied over my background some acrylic gesso with my finger and I let it dry. When the background was well dry I stamped over with Hero Arts Shadow Ink Soft Granite.

Then I proceeded with the decoration of my card. This card was a total mess, took me forever to do it because I was never satisfied with the background - had to do it like 3 times!
