Hello Crafters!
Here I am again with my usual ATC of Saturday!...I need to find a cool name for this weekly appointment! LOL
Lately I am in a romantic and nostalgic mood and ... nope! Not because we are approaching S.Valentine...but because I have been home sick (yes again) and I spent an entire week watching romantic movies....LOL!
For this ATC too I used again stamps from Visible Image....and by now, if you follow me since a bit, you know already that Visible Image is an UK company that create and sell high quality stamps.
The stamps I have used for this ATC are from :
- Time After Time
- Immortal Love
I created the base using distress inks Sugar Spun and Shaded Lilac, I applied the color over the Kraft Sheet and I created a small puddle of color, I then put the cardstock over the puddle of color and I let the colors soak in the cardstock. I let it dry and then I used some spray inks to create some splashes here and there.
With the Texture Card # 8 from Faber Castell Design Memory Craft (New release from CHA2015!!!) I applied the Whipped Spackle --also by Design Memory Craft to create some texture.
The I took another piece of cardstock and I stamped the two roses two times each and then I colored them using again distress ink (Picked Raspberry, Dried Marigold, Scattered Straw) and a small watercolor brush.
Then I patiently cut every single piece of the roses to then glue them back to the two roses that were not cut. I tried to achieve a 3D look...it took me a while...and I had to use a lot of patience, but then I was able to get the result I was looking for!!
When the roses where done, I glued them to the ATC base and then I stamped another stamp from the collection Time After Time , fussy cut it and glued to the base!
After glueing the clock and the two roses at the base, I wanted to balance the top part of the ATC a little, so I taped down a piece of washi tape and a sticker as sentiment.
